AN EXPERIMENTAL MODEL OF IDENTIFYING THE SENSITIVE PHASES OF ADOLESCENT ATHLETES’ BODIES THROUGH A CONTROLLED TRAINING PROGRAM

A.Determinations are carried out in the Laboratory testing of functional exploration effort and evaluation capacity of the physical development, within the Research Centre for Physical-Chemical,  Morpho-Functional Analyses and Chemometry, Institutionalized Centre - Dunarea de Jos University, Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy, outfitted with:

1) Cardio PC/E, a model of ECG system for effort testing that allows registering and archiving data, registering being made on the basis of the system for medical data management INNOBASE. The apparatus can monitor 12 channels, 3 extensions simultaneously, register effort tests according to standard protocols and new ones, can store registrations in the database, can call from the database the registrations for subjects that are later tested, can archive registrations from the database and control the ergometer (uzura medie 10%);

2) Ergonomc bicycle ER-900 with incorporated blood presssure meter, automatically measures blood pressure (medium wear 15%);

3) Oxy Card, ECG with pulsoxymeter, that can simultaneously register and archive the heart rate, the pulse curve, the hemoglobine saturation in oxygen in the peripheric arterial blood, with own data display, or it can perform computerized analysis using the INNOBASE system for medical data management (medium wear 10%);

4) Pulstester, registers and archives the heart rate using a puls sensor;

5) Spiro 2000, spirometer that can register and archive 20 breathing parameters thorugh the system of medical database management Spiro 2000 (medium wear 10%);

6) Polyphysiograph Biopac, with modules for ECG, electroencefalography, electromiography, spirography (medium wear 10%);

7) Taliometer, meter rule for span measurement, anthropometrical compass, scale, metric band, goniometer, cronometer, stetoscope, tensiometer;

B. Clinical Laboratory of the Clinical Emergency Hospital  Sf. Andrei Galati, grants access to:

1.Hematology analyser;

2. Biochemistry analyser

3. Urine tests

C.The Research Centre for Human Performance within the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports grants access to: running band, side stepper, vertical stepper, dynamometers, 4 sport halls and faculty stadium.

IT Infrastructure. Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy offers the following software: INNOBASE; SPIRO 2000. For dcumenting activities and processing experimental data use will be made of computers, scanner, printers, copier that outfit the Laboratory testing of functional exploration effort and evaluation capacity of the physical development;

Faculty of Sciences, Department of Physics by its representative in the project, will ensure the qualified IT processing od partial and final data of our study, using 2 PCs (medium wear 50% - medium period of use 1,5 years), Soft EasyANN (for applications of Artificial Neural Networks)
